Choir & Music
The Chancel Choir at OSLC has an impressive history of musical
leadership in worship. We rehearse Thursday evenings from 7:00 -
8:30pm, Septermber through June. The choir participates in the 10:00am
Service on Sundays, with a rehearsal just prior at 9:330am. The choir
is open to all persons interested in singing.
Choir Director
Matthew Nugent, who has been one of our regular vocal quartet members over the last several months has agreed to serve as our interim music director. Matt is a student at Loyolla Marymount, and will bring his wonderful talent, his eagerness to share in both traditional and contemporary music, and his strong faith to this task. We are grateful that Matthew is willing to serve in this way, while we conduct a thorough search for a permanent director of music. Matt will be coordinating various instrumentalists and vocalists for our services, providing special music occasionally himself, and leading the assembly in congregational song.
